(2) PANICUM FRUMENTACEUM (Nadk. 1, nr. 1791); Nadk. considers

P. FRUM. as a synonym of SETARIA ITALICA BEAUV., but this is not

confirmed by the Index Kewensis, which distinguishes two species:

P. COLONUM LINN. = P. FRUMENTACEUM ROXB., and SORHGUM VUL-

GARE PERS. = P. FRUMENTACEUM SALISB.; Hooker (7, p. 30-32) re-

gards P. FRUMENTACEUM ROXB. as a synonym of P. CRUS-GALLI LINN.

VAR. FRUMENTACEUM and describes P. COLONUM LINN. as a separate

species; Cooke (3, p. 446-447) says that P. FRUMENTACEUM ROXB. is

a synonym of P. STAGNINUM RETZ. VAR. FRUMENTACEA TRIM.;

(3) PAPAVER DUBIUM (Bpn, p. 653); the Index Kewensis mentions

two plants of this name: P. DUBIUM LINN., and P. DUBIUM TENORE =

P. PINNATIFIDUM MORIS.; it may be that P. D. LINN. is meant, because

this species is also described in the Flora Iranica.
